HERMES ELEARNING MODULE LAUNCH WEBINARS – #ERASMUSDAYS2020

From 15 to 17 October, more than 4000 blended or virtual events were held to celebrate the Erasmus+ programme in Europe and all over the world. The #Erasmus Days initiative, in its 4th Edition, was an opportunity for organisations and participants to spread the word about their projects and showcase the impact of their work.

In the context of these celebrations, two Webinars were organised in Italy and in Greece, respectively by the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale” (IZSAM) and by the Veterinary Research Institute of Hellenic Agricultural Organisation (ELGO-VRI), in order to present the launch of the eLearning module on “Recognition of pain, suffering and distress and its application in the evaluation of severity of the procedures (species specific: mice and rats)”, foreseen within the Erasmus+ HERMES Project.

The occasion aimed at contextualizing the HERMES project IO4, presenting structure, contents and didactic methodologies. The addressee were all those who expressed interest in participating to the online course.

In particular, on 15 October, 2020, a virtual launch webinar was managed by IZSAM, in Italian, and another was leaded in parallel by ELGO-Dimitra in Greece. More than 60 people have attended the event.
