The HERMES project partners, under the coordination of the project leader (IZSAM) and of the University of Murcia, which hosted the activity, carried out a Short training staff event aiming at transferring to the experts designed as authors of the Intellectual Output 4 – the eLearning module on the “Recognition of pain, suffering and distress in animals used for scientific purposes” (with a focus on mice and rats) – the necessary skills and competencies for writing for eLearning.

The conference took place in Rome at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità on November 29, 2018. Organised in the framework of the HERMES project, the event saw the participation of several stakeholders actively engaged within the LAS field, with a specific focus on the training and certification of competencies of all professionals involved in the use and care of animals for scientific purposes.
